The majority of tech upgrades on the 2021 Volkswagen Arteon reside in its interior. First off is the Volkswagen Digital Cockpit, which comes standard in the reworked dash. There’s also an 8-inch Discover Media touchscreen, powered by the latest MIB3 entertainment system.
For those that don’t know, MIB3 offers myriad delights including natural voice control, multi-phone pairing that can switch with ease between compatible devices, and wireless App-Connect. Other available tech on the inside includes 30-color ambient lighting.

First Harman/Kardon High-End Sound System in a VW
The 2021 Arteon is also offering the first high-end available sound system designed by Harman/Kardon for Volkswagen. The system utilizes a 700-watt, 16-channel ethernet amplifier to power a total of 12 high-performance speakers. It comes with pre-configured settings titled Pure, Chill out, Live and Energy. Of course, the system can also be tuned to one’s individual preferences through the entertainment system.
A new generation of multifunction steering wheels are also available to inhabit the 2021 Arteon. The wheels feature digital touch surfaces for optimal control. The center dash also includes touch controls for use with the optional three-zone Climatronic® automatic climate control.
Are there any new tech features on the exterior of the 2021 Volkswagen Arteon?
Outside, one tech feature that deserves note is the new light bar in the grille, which surrounds the latest incarnation of the Volkswagen logo. This bar creates a unique light signature in both day and night driving that manages to be instantly memorable.
